Connecting rod small end, slop and repair? CB750K2
« on: January 08, 2016, 10:34:30 AM »
In the middle of an overhaul and noticed all the wrist pins have slight discernible slop in the rods, probably no more than .001".
I know it's not going to get any better but is it totally necessary to replace these rods or just put up with a little noise?
Is there a repair?

Big end is still tight.

measure the pins and the small ends to see if one or both are out of spec,or try another pin or rod to compare.bill
