In the process of looking around for a possible replacement seat for the 73 CB500K2 I have here I have seen many seats listed for other bikes (such as CB500T, CB360, CB750, etc etc)

I wonder if there is some reference list available that would state when seats are interchangeable.

Any insights from restorers who have been down this road before?

Thanks again.

Any 500, or 550 up to 76 will fit . All others might be made to fit but wont go on without mods
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

When it comes to seats, the are not usually interchangible. Even some cb750 models don't interchange with other models. None of the other models (outside the cb550 up to 1976) will fit or be correct, no matter how close they look.
