Topic: 4 into 1 exhaust on a CB550 K?

I have a 76 CB550 currently setup with 4 into 2 exhaust by a PO.  I want to go with 4 into 1 system from MAC fro my Cafe project over the winter.  Does anyone know if this system will have the clearence issues a 4 into 1 F exhaust would have with break pedal and stand?  I know the carbs will need to be redone, and am ready for that, or are there better exhaust options out there?

I have a 4 into 1 Mac on my 77 550K. I don't know about clearance issues, because I bought the bike with the exhaust. I don't particularly care for the system however. I don't know how old mine is, but it's pretty rusty, loud as sin (no baffle, removed by the PO) and IMO beyond ugly. Maybe the chrome ones are better, and maybe they are better than what I think, because I have no experience with them beyond what is on my 550, and it came to me in the shape it's in.

Now alot of the discoloration on the pipes and muffler is dirt, but there's a lot of rust on there too.

Have you checked out loudfastugly.com?  I've seen exhaust systems for 550s on their site.

Thanks for the sites and suggestions.  It seems that only MAC makes theses things, as all sites with exhausts for the CB550 only list MAC as the supplier.  I think thats the route I am going to go.  I'll post pictures of the process once I start.  This weekend I am putting on my new clubman bars...I'll post those pics too.
