!977 cb550k, air mixture screw problem
« on: January 13, 2016, 05:08:08 AM »
Hello, My #4 air mixture screw is missing. I have a new screw & spring, but can't get it to screw in far enough (won't bottom)
I suspect maybe a broken piece of old screw is stuck in seat.
My question; can I remove only the #4 carb, or must I remove all 4.
Thanks in advance, Merkie

I think it's much easier to remove all 4. Can you use a mirror and flashlight and confirm that there's something in there? You might be able to push it out from the hole inside the carb outlet. Removing the bank of 4 is a pain, one reason to use pods! Haha
