550 cam gear
« on: January 21, 2016, 07:57:39 AM »
Is there a front and back to the cam gear? It looks like it could go either way.  Also, is there a trick to getting the chain onto the gear?
Thanks

it's symmetrical.
to mount it, put the cam in place with the chain resting where the sprocket would go, and the sprocket loosely on the cam, next to it. like in the picture.
then lift the chain onto the sprocket. then the sprocket onto the flange where it belongs.
