I like this café racer styled build...

...it has the café seat cowl...

...clip-on bars...

...the intakes provide suction to your "jewels" holding you firmly in place...

...and there's a catch can for emergency stops and you lose control of your bowels!

There are no licensing requirements to calling yourself a custom builder. I'm normally of the "the market will determine if something to too #$%*e" philosophy but the fact he's (I'm presuming gender here) made at least 15 of these abominations raises all kinds of red flags for the state of humanity. I do however, plan to plagiarize the addition of a can to all my builds. Think of the possibilities - a sardine tin, a Behr Paint can for my custom build for Home Depot, a stewed tomatoes can paired with a Ducati motor, a chewing tobacco tin paired with a camo paint job, or even a Foster's Lager can to go with my famous kangaroo handlebars.

Velocity needs to do a special on this builder with profile segments of those who've shelled out money for these.

I don't normally like to question someone's personal taste when it comes to the stylistic choices he/she make on their own bikes. To each his own.

However, I don't believe that courtesy is extended to "commercial" bikes. If you're attempting to make money by building bikes you accept that you're held to a higher standard. Despite that, I still refrain from criticizing style choices. What I cannot abide is a commercial maker trying to establish a "look" with building choices that endanger the rider, the pillion, and anyone is the vicinity of one of these death machines.

The geometry of these bikes is particularly and ridiculously unsafe. These bikes are not safe to ride longer than a block or two. Maybe that is why he calls them "Bar Hoppers". You'd need to be under the influence to ride one and even then only down the street to the next bar.

I talked to the guy who builds these and he told me each one comes with a $250 gift card of the buyer's choice from either Ed Hardy or Affliction. Seems about right.

I just don't get building something that can't be ridden like a real motorcycle. I try to appreciate the style, but calling that anything close to board-track is insulting. They are smart in that they built multiples of them... At least in theory, it would make it easy to profit on them. Ridiculous.

What style is something like that considered? Theres a guy down the road from me with a similar old Honda hes done up in that style that I see occasionally. Wheels on it look like fat bicycle tires. Not my idea of a functional ride.

It does look cool ..I sorta like it.. Probably handles better than some of the radical stuff back in the day..
