Getting back on the road - small parts question
« on: September 24, 2018, 04:34:46 PM »
I'm finally in the home stretch of getting my 1982 CB650SC back on the road.  I'm missing the following parts, and they appear to be unavailable online.  Can anyone provide a recommendation for a source, or alternate/cross-referenced part number?

Clutch cable adjustment bolt - BOLT, CABLE ADJ.  53192422000
Petcock filter - SCR SET, FUEL STRN 16952425005  ***this is from a 1980 CB650 tank, I swapped tanks
Battery terminal nuts &  bolts - I'm not sure of the size, or what material is acceptable.

Also, does the fuel line typically run right from the petcock to the brass fuel joint between carbs 3 and 3?  I don't have the vacuum-assisted petcock.

Thanks all!

Cable adjuster here at CycleReCycle in Indianapolis under general accessories $2.95

https://newmotorcycleparts.net/accessories/general_accessories.html

Screen set here at CMSNL, that's the Netherlands, only 2 left, € 30 sorry.

Battery bolts come with a new battery, maybe a battery shop will have some old ones, or new ones.

you can get away with out the auto fuel valve. I don't
use the one on mine just put the fuel line straight to the carbs . I also have a fuel filter in that line ,the one in the fuel valve has rotted away . hope this helps
