1974 cb750k

Hey all,
I am currently working on a 1974 cb750k. This bike unfortunately does not have papers and here in Nova Scotia it seems nearly impossible to get them from the dmv. Before I get too far into the build I'd like to have papers. The option I'm perusing is to buy a new frame that has papers and put everything from first bike on it. I have not found a 74 frame. I have found mid 70's cb750f frames and I am wondering if things would line up, including the side covers which I wish to keep on the bike. If you have any info on if things would line up or you may have a better idea it be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Maybe you could get the bike registered in the states and then do a transfer as normal ? Vermont is easy to work with.
