I only heard the bike once at Mosport. It could be heard the whole way around the track, simply unbelievable.

In August 2017 our VRRA will host a 50th reunion of the 1967 Canadian GP. Mike Hailwood won the 250 class on the "six". We're hoping to have one of these fascinating motorcycles for the weekend. If you want to see a real McCoy, mark it on your calendars.

Got to thinking about the piston size for this bike.....250cc, 6 cylinders?  Yikes!  they're really tiny!

Fast forward through the vid above to see the crank assembly. This is stuff from the early to mid 60's. Honda really dumbed things down when they built our SOHC4's!!

That first post was just a 'putt-putt' around the small parking lot,probably barely got'er out of the pilot jets..
I'd like to see a full race version of the CBX  ;D

it certainly did not like being ridden that slowly , i have seen one ridden properly and it is a sight and sound to behold
not sure if this is a genuine bike , Honda bought two of the George Beal replicas for demonstration purposes .
i thought the only genuine running one left was the team obsolete bike .

I love how 'locked-in to the task at hand' those two 'Techs' w/ the T-handles are in the video and really enjoyed seeing the design of the dual shim bucket holder pieces that covered each pr. of valve springs,I imagine they keep each pr. of valves in very straight alignment to their respective valve guides underneath.This engine is built very precise and designed to hold together under very stressful high rpm racing.The design of the upper part of the cylinder head is great for air cooling the engine back then.
