Ahh okay, thanks for the clarification. Yeah the cams like the 41, 41a, etc certainly aren't excessive. My custom cam is similar in lift but a bit more suited for low end torque.
The reason I ask is because I have very little faith in cam companies' advertised numbers. The descriptions are very basic for understandable marketing reasons. But when it really comes down to real world practical applications, things can vary substantially. Just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had possibly given it a go with the 295 and the ebay pistons, just to see if they are close and possibly how much they may have had to take out of the present valve reliefs. If I had all the bits available to me right now I'd check it out myself. Was worth an ask anyhow. Cheers!
