In general(that means I am generalizing, not talking about everyone without exception, got it?) that is a forum for poorly designed, low performance, no go show pony's built by trendy hipster douchebags
I've been over there busting chops for that exact reason the last few months. (there may be a couple people here that can attest to that) and I have no mercy when it comes to functionality. Really I can be relentless if they choose to be ignorant. Lots of them seem to be coming around.

Site seems to be up, you're safe, for now.
and yet you still had to ask for my obvious answer?...way too many frame hoops(poops) going on here already imo, certainly don't need more bad influences.  I am all about "you meet the nicest people on a Honda" whatever.  I just feel that kids need to learn to not ruin good old bikes.  When I was young, and still, I respected my elders.   Old guy busts on your junk...you might want to listen...chances are he has already been there...and can save you the hassle.
If it works good, it looks good...

I agree 100% and notice I'm the only one here questioning the "finished" 350f that just popped up here. Everyone is stroking his ego but the bike has many fundamental mistakes.

Man I can't believe you guys first the Syrians and now the DTT refugees.  Your killing me.  Apparently poorly done cafes are now an act of terrorism.  ha,ha,ha,ha,ha

What are we to do build a wall around SOHC4.net?  I can see the reality TV series now Sean911 saving one old bike at a time.

Season 1 Episode 1 setting local swap meet.  Sean's hipster radar is triggered when he hears the word craft being used 25 times in a single sentence followed by the word can't wait to get her her home and start cutting parts off  over a nice craft micro cider.

Sean does a spinning round roundhouse knocking the $10 coffee drink out of the hipsters hand, jumps on the cb750 and motors off To be continued..... 8)

DTT still not up on my computer, but the screen has changed and it now says "service unavailable."

Didn't intend for this to be a discussion of the difference between DTT and here, and nobody asked, but here goes. I understand telling someone when they don't know that they're making dangerous mods to a bike (no clearance between the tire and the seat, no fork brace or fender, etc.), but it's a little trickier (at least for me) when people make dumb or misguided moves (switching to pods without knowing what they're doing, running straight exhaust, putting clip-ons on a bike with forward pegs) that aren't as dangerous. Sure, it's harder to ride that bike, and that could theoretically make it more dangerous, but it's that person's bike and that person's choice. And some people go after others because they disagree with aesthetic goals or minor changes, such as handlebars. But the vitriol that gets unleashed over there for pages and pages and the tough guy attitudes that back it up are cringe worthy and hilarious at the same time. I don't see the same kind of vitriol over here and I kind of hope it stays that way.

Personally I would love it if some of the primadonas were to take their bikes to the salt and once and for all everyone would know who the real bike builders are.  Don't think you would get many takers.  I love it if SOHC4 had a meetup on the salt.

Why the salt?  These bikes arent about top end, too easy to go 125 in a straight line.

I say take em here to the Hills, that will seaparate the pack quickly!

I can see it now, they'll line up with flat seats, "Flannel plaid" leather suits, Man buns taped to their helmets, and straddle walk their bikes to the line. Then, when the rain begins, their bikes will cough, sputter and spew as their AF mixture drowns because of the pods. Oh, the crowd goes wild...

Not that I'm knocking pods by the way... :-[
