If you're talking about the exhaust, not in my book.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Agreed. Something is not correct. I had the same exhaust on my 72. Here is a few pics if it helps

Yeah.. But not sure if it could be anything I'm doing. It's pretty simple install lol. Do you still have that bike? Would love to see a over shot like mine to compare.
Any thoughts on what I could have done wrong?

You don't need a top shot to see that yours is not sitting correctly, look how close Dave's is to the swingarm in this pic...

Take a shot of where the pipe is sitting under the bike and a pic of the headers, something isn't right...

It looks like it is "low" as well as too far away from frame. Can you rotate the muffler piece counterclockwise on the collector?

Looks like I may have just been being to "precise" when I aligned the header on. It just needed to be rotated is all  ;)

theslayedsaint,Glad it fitted I spend late last night checking my jig to make sure it wasn't something I did once i was informed off the issue saturday night.
But if your still unhappy with the fit I will refund you the full amount including any $$$ for return shipping.
If you are to keep it make sure you wipe down the pipe with contact cleaner before starting the bike for the first time (too remove hand prints) otherwise it will discolour  ...Any problems with it my work ph goes to my cell outside work hours so don't hesitate to call if you have ???

That looks right. Glad it was easy fix for you. The quality of those pipes is so good, would have been hard to believe the fit would have been that far off. ;)

armysix Thanks! And sorry you got notified never really thought it was a issue with the builder! Just the operator! It's a real piece of art! Totally worth the wait! And thanks for the heads up about wiping it down.

Now I'm wondering of I should rotate mine up a bit on the CB550...I'll play with it, outlet seems slightly low but it fits fairly sight to the bike, the hanger stud is square and directly below the passenger peg mount. We shall see.

I've got the same exhaust, you've really got to pay attention to the orientation of that muffler if you don't have it attached to the rear footpeg. I wasn't paying attention once and my muffler had slowly rotated outward from all the vibration. Didn't notice it until i leaned to the right and put a nice big scuff on the stainless muffler  :'(

So fyi, secure that muffler so it won't rotate back outwards!

I couldn't either, I just saw that CB400F (and therefore 350F as well) fitment exhausts are offered online.  I would love to give these a try.

Why would anyone build an exhaust without a tab to support the rear part of pipe..or maybe at least supply a nice clamp.?

There is a threaded tab on there to support it. Welded on by the maker. He just has to decide where to support it from, as the rear peg mounts are gone.

It does has a place to mount a "clamp" or some type of bracket I just haven't had the time to make a bracket from the bike to the exhaust.

Also motogp werks isn't making anymore at this moment that I know of, he only does a few at a time he's a really busy guy. But they look amazing and are way worth the wait.
