What carb do I have?
« on: March 11, 2016, 09:07:49 PM »
Hi all,
I need to replace my float chamber o rings, but I'm not sure exactly which model CB550 motor the carbs are off as the motor was bought for a project without model ID. Can anyone help.

Those are 069A carbs.
4into1.com has replacement viton bowl gaskets.

Thanks for that Flybox.
I didn't realise it would be as simple as reading the number stamped on the carb, but when you think about it, it's pretty logical.
You wouldn't know what year model they come off, would you?
Regards.

I have the same carbs. The bowl looks pretty clean(a lot cleaner than mine). Depending on what you're going to do with them you may want to order a few jets too...a 40 slow and 100/105/110 mains cover most of the applications.

Cheers,

Double thanks to you Gide, I just ordered the float bowl gaskets from mybigcommerce and added a repair it for good measure so that should sort out any carburation problems. Looking forward to seeing (hearing, feeling?) the result.
