He says it allows much better shifting as well as improved engagement. Clunking is gone as is the various strange noises that can heard taking off. Extra space is taken up by spacers. Coating on the steels, OEM fibers. Supposed to hold extra power as well. I guess he will be releasing it after they test it more.

I'd be willing to beta test it (i.e. parts donated for "the cause" and I would test them for free)  ;)

Id love to hear about one in use on a drag bike.. Claims hundreds of pass's can be made.. And like all the products on their website the author has a way with words to make it seem like that product is THE product.. I do still want to try the bobbin coils with optical ignition and the sidewinder.. Bill got the Super rods.. Looking forward to checking those out too

I'm still trying to understand the use for this, especially in a dragbike. My 16 years of working on performance automatic transmissions full of clutch packs has to question the thinking.

I tend to agree with you Dave. Goes against conventional reasoning in terms of heat disapation and frictional resistance.

Me too. Seems like you would want MORE clutch surface area - not less. We'll see.

That's called marketing!  Lol. You guys wondering,  me too, I think the steels would be the determining factor. The other plates are OEM. Kenny seemed pretty excited about it. We'll know soon enough,  I got faith!  Bill

Hmm, less surface area with less plates and viscous drag might make finding neutral easier, but with stock springs, the "coating" on the plates must be some magic substance that allows the clutch to fully hook up? ???

It will happen! Kenny's got to run the business first. Plus the power he was putting out.......also twisted the crank! Any of you ever twist a CB750 SOHC crank? I think I know the answer!  Give the man some encouragement,  not so much criticism! Bill

No criticism Bill.  ;) Anxious to see Kenny on The Beast after seeing that amazing head and seeing the video!! We know what he is capable of and want to see 'those other types of bikes' squirming under the pressure of another 'old Honda'. That goes for you too bro!!  ;D Just gets better every year. Kenny has been a big part of helping everyone.

Bill, not sure where anyone was criticizing Kenny. We're all curious about how this new clutch works since its different than what we're used to dealing with mechanically. As to the bike, there was a huge buildup in its construction, of course we all would like to know its status. Don't forget, we all got to personally see and touch that FBG head. I see nothing wrong with any of us inquiring about the debut.
