Accelerator pump prime
« on: February 07, 2016, 01:58:56 PM »
How many cracks of the throttle should it take to prime the accelerator pump after the float bowls are full.   I'm going to try to test my pump in a freshly rebuilt set of carbs.

4-5 twists for mine.
Turn the throttle slow, and hold it....youre trying to get fuel to pass through tiny holes and press all the bubbles out, so dont crack the throttle fast.
