NOS Honda gauges in their boxes are nice to have, though;)

Have a look at now and then and for eventual future need.

Beautiful gauges John, I better stop looking at them as I will start my K1 resto soon, but I have some pretty good used K1 gauges that'll do, I've spent way too much on motorcycle parts over the last year, and if the wife ever finds out how much, I'm a dead man..... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry, if you need new gauges in the future, it can be too late. All are gone... ;)

Very true Per, but as long as Marcel at CB750faces.com hasn't caught Covid-19 and snuffed it, I can always send him one of the used sets I have here and have him make them look like new again. ;D

That's not a bad price for a set of restorable cores Brad, I've got a spare K0 speedo and tach for a K0, but both need restoration. ;D

Sh!t!
Thoughts start to gather as clouds in the sky.
I have good K1 fenders, K1 engine bottom end, cylinder, head and wheels to use when my K6 get new wider alloy rims on restored hubs.... Rims w spokes on their way from UK.
Early all alu MC too.

The very beatiful K1 tank badges still available as NOS.

Gauges another thing, not cheap. I need kmh speedo.

I need to keep my eyes open for more. Frame w registration, fork .......
This IS a disease!! A good one.. ;)

I fully understand you! CB750 is a good looking engine, perfect for a chopper build.

I would like one with shocks, maybe hidden plunger style  and not that extrem rake. Front brake to be functional.

I was very found of Big Dog motorcycles a few years ago. Mastiff my favourite.
That style with a CB750 engine could be something!

I have also started to like New Indians.
Scout with the bigger engine still not many hp.
Or the more expensive Chieftain with more cc and lots of torque.

Yep I'd love to build a CB750 chop, as Per says, the CB750 engine was (and still is, IMHO) a really nice looking engine, and back in the day there were some beautiful 750 chops out there. I like the new Indians too, I was all set to buy the basic Chief model in 2015 when my little Subaru gave up the ghost and I had to take out a lease on my big fancy SUV to do my 1000 mile per week commute, which is very nice too, but I'd rather have the Indian.

I'm lucky though in that I own several "V" and "L" twins, so I can still hear that lovely bark when I want to, and anyway, my Triumph Rocket III is (IMHO again) the most awesome "Power Cruiser" out there, and neither the biggest Harleys or Indians will get near it, with it's 2.9 second 0-60 acceleration. The problem here is getting a chopper legally registered. Unless it's built to "Australian Design Rules" (ADR's) or an old one that's been previously registered here in Oz, it has to be inspected by an engineer, and in some cases "tested to destruction" before an engineer will tick the box.

I'd love to import one of the Cyclex chopper or trike frames, but it might all be for nought if they don't come with a VIN tag and a title, as imported bikes have to have both before they can go on the road here. Of course I could just swap a plate from one of my other CB750's on to a chopper when I want to go for a ride, but I'd be in a world of hurt if I was in a crash, as once it became obvious that the plate was off another bike, I'd not be covered by personal accident insurance, I'd have to pay for the damage to both my bike and the the other vehicle, and I'd be charged with several offences. Oh well, I suppose I could just put 3 foot apes and a sissy bar on my K0.......... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"
