CB750 F1 exhaust
« on: February 08, 2016, 12:38:49 PM »
Hello all.
My original muffler is rusted out.
I am looking at installing a complete road system.
I would like to keep close to the original styling.
I only see a few choices.
MAC, Motad and Delkevic.
Any suggestions?

Any wraps on the Motad system?
Delkevic doesn't specify F model fitting. Anyone fitted one yo F1?

Thanks
DB

I have a Delkevic on my F0 (same as F1) but I have not installed a muffler/tail piece yet. It is listed as for the DOHC model. Look up PR2618. Hoping to fire it up soon as is. New build. If you go that route it is a very easy install. First put the pipes in the collector and install the springs then install on the head. Half hour. They have a new muffler too which is also listed as DOHC but I'm not sure how it mounts to the F0/F1 and the F2/F3 since they all probably have different mount points.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Thanks.
I just contacted Delkevic via email and I was in formed that minor modification MAY be required for the muffler attachment. I am waiting for confirmation on the model number of the system they were talking about.

Thanks Jerry. Just found you post re these pipes. They look good. Which muffler did you go for?
