Wheelborne Magnetic Tank Bags
« on: February 08, 2016, 05:43:00 PM »
Hey SOHC4 guys and gals its been a while since I've posted here. This page was a wealth of help when I couldn't wrap my brain around my first inline 4 motor. Thought I'd share with you all the handmade motorcycle bag company I've been developing over the past year called Wheelborne Bag Co. So far I've tested some solid tank bag designs and currently working on a universal saddlebag design. The tank bags attach with 4 removable neodymium magnets sewn into the bag's container and exposed neoprene rubber backers keep the bag from sliding off and scratching paint. The bags themselves are lined with the same neoprene rubber and sewn into a waxed canvas shell, making them extremely water repellent. Perfect for weekend trips, around town jaunts and people that ride with pants too tight to fit anything in. Thought I'd drop a line here to query the room and get some feedback. Thanks.

I like the design.  Is there something on the bottom to save wear and tear on the paint

Currently I have a temporary shop up on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WheelborneBagCo ) and have been selling through Cognito Moto here in Richmond. Price for the the original tank bag is $150, and when I finish a few more models of the map pocketed bag I plan to offer them in the 225$ range.

You do know that cognitomoto sells through shopify? Maybe a shopify for tank bags is the way to go.
