I need a float bowl
« on: February 08, 2016, 06:33:55 PM »
I have a malfunctioning check valve for the accelerator pump in the number 2 float bowl of my cb750k7.   Does anyone have a bowl with a functional check valve complete with drain screw they would sell?

Check with member harisluv on the forum.  He's the go-to guy for all things carb related.

You can find him in the service section for carb rebuilding.

ultrasonic cleaner with purple simple green works great to clear this.

Thanks flybox.  I used a bit of heat to assist the jammed valve.  Apparently a bit too much as the nylon square melted a bit and popped out.  I was able to press the square back in but now it won't hold prime.  I can spray fuel out of it with the pump but as I release the pump rod it sucks fuel back to the bowl through the check valve.

sounds like you got one of the earlier bowls with the plastic plug.
the latter ones came with brass plugs.
harisuluv is your best bet at a replacement bowl.
