sadly ;D i am off for a few days trout fishing and will not get the chance to say "Come on KIWI" as we thrash the Brits at league on sat night then give the Frogs a bashing in the scrum in the rugby on sunday morning. the results of my endevours will be found in Terry's bull#$%* post

Sam, it's not the river that will get me(I hope) it's been snowing in the mountains the last few days, I'm worried about keeping my coffee warm. the beer will be fine tho  ;)

Having had a holiday there last year, and wet the line at a couple of the nicest spots you would find anywhere, snow on the mountains and water clear and blue, I have only one thing to say to you scunny -  a'hole!!  ;) Have fun mate.

sadly mick was right regarding fish caught. It blew like hell in the mountains for the whole 4 days, so the river was big and it was impossible to cast a fly.
still, the beer was cold and the lies got bigger.

the worst days fishing is still better than working. luckily I get to go for a day trip about every 2 weeks depending on river conditions at the time. here in Canterbury the northwest wind dumps a lot of rain in the watersheds that feed my main rivers, they get very angry and coloured.

well, that was a great league series.
The weather god is still pissing into my drink, every time my main rivers get to be in a fishable condition I'm working. meant to be going for 3 days this weekend on the waiau and it's rising again F#$K
