How so I slide this semicircle back in?

I have those carbs but haven't split them.

SWAG You're ether going to have to rotate the shaft to align with the keyway or manually lift the carb slide to get it to align. It may even take a combination of both.

Yep, it was just a matter of sliding it into the throttle pivot arm. Seen to the left of the circle in the picture.
