Ignition issues.

Cb750 ignition. POwner can't find key. No number on face, but number WC21B. What is this? More strange twists.

The mounting tab is an old Rocky Cycle (et al) on-the handlebar mount for these switches. Besides that, the connector on the wires would tell you if it was for a 750K0-K2 (early) or a K2 (late) to K6 type. Or, if it is a CB/CL350 type, being sold by EMGO as CB750, which melts itself apart when used...the key number is not Honda unless it came from their seat-steering-ignition key set ("671" parts kit).

If you don't have locking gas cap and the fork lock or seat lock I have a ignition with keys that came off my bike when it got custom rewired

I think that's an aftermarket switch to your bike,Honda would certainly have a different(like #T....)number.

  I love the small ones too !

If you use this switch, I suggest also adding a relay that is switched by the BLACK wire, to take the power off the switch. These are the EMGO knockoff units with light wires and small contacts, made for the CB/CL350 bikes. On the Fours, it eventually melts the wires off the back of the switch. :(

I have one on my 750, now 4 years, but added a relay to solve this problem.  ;)

That is actually a good suggestion I use relays to take the load off of all my switches

This is a relay what you want to do is suply power to the hot pin from the battery then out to the fuse box on the wire that you cut to coming from the switch then run the wire switch side to one of the triggers and ground the other that way the switch is just turning on the relay and the relay is handling the load.

Why not simply swap the plug end from your stock unit to the new unit?
