That's all very noble when you're not in the firing line mate, but I know you'd change your tune if your family and friends were the victims of one of these attacks and mindless red tape was protecting the attackers. Cheers, Terry. ;D
Believe what you wish, Terry. But do not presuppose to know my heart, Mate. And its not mindless Red Tape. Its municipal government bureaucracy at fault.

So what you're saying Cal, is if your family and friends were murdered by the colleagues of those terrorists in a future attack, you'd still be happy for the murderers identities to be protected by this ideology that you hold so dear? Your privacy is more important to you, than protecting the lives of your own family? Seriously? Wow..........   :-\
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Many people have laid down their lives and to this day people are still dying defending our very right to privacy along with our other freedoms. What do you say to the friends and family of those patriots? We were just kidding?

Let me get this right, what Terry is saying is, that he's obviously against our troops  fighting these bastards to defend our freedom, which includes our right to privacy,  because they might get killed...? Isn't that how we maintain our rights and freedoms ?  See how that works...Sounds like these people won't be happy till we have our own Stasi, keeping secret files on everyone, just in case they do something wrong,  but at least we'll be "safe" right. Giving in to fear campaigns just means the terrorists are winning, that's exactly what they want, the only tool they have is fear.  Since when did our privacy and freedom  become an ideology and not a right, is that how you justify this argument ?, you take the rights our forefathers  fought hard to preserve, and turn them into an ideology/political football,  just so they can be changed to suit a politically motivated agenda of fear, Really..

Geez I bet all of the terrorist's contacts are hoping that Apple wins out, and they retain their freedom to plan more attacks against freedom loving Americans. It'd really piss the terrorists off if those commies got their way and went after them! ;D

Can't we just shoot their phones?

Ha ha, well if I've done nothing else by responding to this ridiculous thread, I've brought you and Retro back together Cal. After Retro called you a rich pig awhile ago when you were boasting about your big game hunting safari's to Africa, (to help save a third world country's economy, apparently...........) I never thought that you'd both see eye to eye again, but when it comes to a fear that our respective government's think either of you are actually interesting enough to want to take a second look at, well, it just shows that (cuckoo) birds of a feather, flock together!

Now I think that the best thing for me to do is walk away slowly, and not make eye contact............ ;D

Not sure whether I should stand and salute as you skulk away or go ahead and lower the flag, Terry? What say you, Retro? His obvious ignorance of our friendship is either an opinion, or flatulence. I can't discern which as both emanate from the same orifice.

I'd say flatulence mate, I can't work out what the fcuk is he on about ..?  ;D ;)
