CB750 new aftermarket wiring harness
« on: February 19, 2016, 04:31:15 PM »
Am restoring my CB750 K0 and a company DBA VintageCB750.com is advertising newly manufactured wiring harnesses for 75 bucks.  Hmmm, 46 years younger with pliable wires, clean corrosion free new connectors, clearly identifiable color codes and connector blocks that don't crack in 2 pieces when the male is plugged in.  What's not to like?  Any opinions or "what's not to like" experiences from the forum brain trust?  Any highly regarded vendors?

I've used the harnesses from both VintageCB750 and PartsNmore (seem to be the same vendor) with good results. In the K0-K2 types, most of the wires are a straight-up match. In the K3-K6 versions there are some oddball jumpers that have to be made, but everything works afterward. I haven't used one after the F0 model, though.
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Same experience here. Have used twice, both on K2's. Good experience so far and colors matched up to diagram.

I am using one right now on my 76 F restore and it seems pretty good.

+1 on my F. Nice clean tight snap connections.

As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

I recently installed a Parts N More harness that was 100% good, except you still needed to save a 3-inch brown/blue jumper wire from the old one for the tail light circuit.
