This muffler gasket has no separate part number. It is a little damaged now - (err because) I tried to take it out but fear I will totally wreck it- is there anything anyone has found that can be used to replace this with?
When I stick in the largest diameter pipe that will go in there and tighten the clamp, the pipe can still rotate - as the muffler is rather heavy, I feel it should be clamped tight to the 4 into 1!
The end of my (modified) 4 into 1 looks like it may fit into the muffler if I removed the packing and just used a little high temp silicone instead, but I don't want to destroy the gasket while removing it only to then find that it doesn't fit!
