500 k0 main stand question
« on: February 21, 2016, 05:12:08 PM »
Just refitted main stand wheels etc and when in the up position the main stand ends up resting on the rear brake adjust rod rather than the swing arm

Is this correct or have I put something back together wrongly

Should there be a rubber bump stop or something to stop the stand whacking on the swing arm or something

The #2 or lower left side exhaust pipe has a centre stand bumper rubber on its underside. If you plan to use a 4 into 1 you'll have to make an alternative bumper bracket, John

Thanks Jonda
As I have bought new CMS pipes does the rubber glue on to the pipe or push in a special slot?

I will have to see if the CMS pipes have a locating point for this rubber

The muffler should have a special little bracket with a hole for the bumper rubber to push into, John
