OEM t/y connector barb
« on: February 22, 2016, 08:11:54 PM »
For tanks with one petcock outlet was there ever an OEM t/y connector/barb to split the fuel to the two fuel hoses of the carbs? Can't seem to find the OEM part number anywhere

I've also successfully used brass 1/4" tees from the hardware or auto parts store.  Cheaper and easier to find.

only wish that was the case around here, tried two home depots and two local hardware stores to no avail. smallest I found was a 1/4 connector (female) and had to get 3 individual 3/16-1/4 straight barbs (~$15) to fit in each one which I felt was a bit ridiculous

You don't show on your profile where "around here" is but, I've never had a problem locating brass fittings like that in Home Depot or Lowes. If not in plumbing look where tubing and fittings  for refrigerator ice maker/cold water supply are. Also readily found in auto parts stores.

I'm in NYC so our hardware stores are not as big/extensive as outside the city
