Oil guide b
« on: February 23, 2016, 08:43:47 am »
Hi,

I'm rebuilding the engine of my CB550 (1977).  I've pretty much got everything together but I have just found that I forgot to put in 'Oil guide b' (part number 11203323010).

Sooooo, I'm guessing the answer will be suck it up and re-split the cases, but is it possible to omit this part?

Ta.

Hopefully someone more familiar with the 550 will jump in, as I'm no expert on those. But, is this part of an automatic chain oiler like the 750's? If so you can leave it out and lube your chain manually. I did on my 750.
