I'm low tech, bought a couple of these Mobius cameras.

http://www.amazon.com/Spy-Tec-Mobius-Action-Camera/dp/B00GT2B4R6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448418226&sr=8-1&keywords=mobius+camera

I use one in the cradle, that attaches to a handlebar mount.  The other I put a piece of Velcro on the underside of the camera body, and attach it to my helmet.  Video is pretty good, just download the software and connect the USB cable, reads it like an external drive.  Perfect for a 3G flip-phone guy like myself!

Yeah... Sorry but 3G is way out of date. Also I'm really loving the crash video idea! so many good ideas just for use for two wheel people. I think this could really be a game changer for safety for us out on the road.

The slim profile is great.
Hardware continues to get smaller/cheaper to install.
Plenty of room to upgrade @ v2.0  ;)

The Mohawk is really going to be state of the art on rollout. All the safety functions of that helmet leaves nothing to be desired.

Another camera coming out should be nice for mounting on a cycle.

Fair disclosure: I have a vested interest in the chip company that supplies to both of these products as well as GoPro.
