Topic: Hagon Slim Springs Rust

I was about to order Hagon's for my 74 CB750 build. I bought a pair last year for my 74 CB360 and I like them - much more firm than the old stock ones. Like everyone I also think Dave Quinn is really helpful, but for the benefit of anyone who is contemplating buying them - don't get the slim springs if you don't like rust on the damper.  Mine look crappy after less than a year and apparently this is normal because the slim springs scrape the paint off the damper. I like Hagons but dont get slim springs if you don't like rust.
