Gigs in LA/OC area - Good Citizen
« on: March 01, 2016, 01:17:42 PM »
Just cuz - I figured I'd see if anyone is interested.  My Band, Good Citizen, has a couple of gigs coming up this month.  We are in Long Beach/North Orange County in CA, play almost always in Long Beach.

Saturday, March 12 - a Tribute to Irish Writers feat. Good Citizen
We'll be doing some Irish music as well as original
5535 E. Spring Street. Long Beach

We kick off at 7-ish, about an hour and a half or so.  There's a bar next door

Thursday, March 17 - St. Paddys at the Red Leprechaun
5 - 8:30 (it's a school night)
4000 E. Anaheim St., Long Beach

Pub music - we don't do the maudlin, weepy Irish stuff.

Maybe we'll see you, locals.

Has anyone ever heard of rakish paddy, the irish music led zeppelin cover band out of Eugene?

They used to limit their appearances to only on St Patrick's day is what I understand.  A friend took me to see them about 20 years ago.

Never heard of 'em, but it sounds hilarious. And you've gotta have your stuff together if you're gonna pull that off.  :D
