Well at least TNhas allowed us to use Electronic proof of insurance. Not sure if a secure usb flash stick the popo as my little sister likes to call them would work. You could have everything you needed on the drive along with scanned images of other things you might want if traveling and stuck somewhere or needed to call a bunch of numbers after loss or theft of wallet. If it was lost the encryption of usb device would protect the info on it...a very determined and patient thief would not have the means to crack the encryption, nsa and some govt probably not as much issue to crack it... maybe apple will make one...
The problem might be if the police officer didn't trust the drive to be usedin his cruiser's computer. I think even his smart phone could access the info. I have a slick little non-encrpted stick that is very small with rubber end capsmade by e I use that has USB mini connector on one end and std USB on the other. It is a stellar xt 16gb made by Patriot and it comes in in much larger capacities and it was inexpensive.
