There is a great cycle- friendly campground near Traverse City, Michigan called Cycle Moore.  Might be a good place to camp for a few days as you take day trips in the area.

M-22 is a great ride along the Lake Michigan shore as is M-23 along Lake Huron. Plan also to ride the Tunnel of Trees (M-119) too.  If you are into authentic Polish food, stop at Legs Inn, which is a short ride south of the Bridge.
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

It took me way longer to sell my Magna than expected, but offers started coming in as soon as people started getting their taxes back. Now is the time to sell!

I had about $3,000 in my budget and looked at just about anything I thought might work. I liked the BMWs but couldn't bring myself increase my budget to afford one. I liked the VFRs but they just aren't my style.

I ended up going the Concours route. I just couldn't get over the 7.5 gallon fuel tank, shaft drive and removable hard luggage. It's a 2002 with 19,000 miles. (Silver and black) I only paid $1,000 because the carbs were terrible. I'm going to use some of the leftover money on an engine rebuild for my little CB so I'm pretty happy with the way things came out.

I don't have a picture because I tore it down as soon as I got it home. It has never taken me so long to thoroughly clean a set of carbs even on barn find bikes. Other than that everything has looked good upon inspection except some tight valves and old fluids.

Looks just like this one. http://www.bike-urious.com/budget-tourer-2002-kawasaki-concours/

Welcome to Connie ownership.  I bought an '05 Concours brand new.  While it's given me some moments where I've thought Kawasaki was an observational japanese word that meant "Too cheap to buy a Honda", all in all it's been a really good buy.

Two sites I would recommend, first off this is the guy to talk to about any carb issues... Steve Sefsick aka Steve in Sunny Florida...https://sites.google.com/site/shoodabenengineering/

The other would be Murph's.  http://www.murphskits.com/

I can't bring myself to go the Voyager/Goldwing route yet. I'm only 31 and my girlfriend prefers to follow on my little 350f than riding with me....maybe one day.

Get a Goldwing and set it up like this...

That way there will be plenty of room for ur girlfriend AND her sister! ;D

That looks like one of those Auburn Wide sidecars  8)
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
Do your BEST...nobody can take that away from you.

I had a customer back in 1997' who had a BMW R90/6 and also an Auburn sidecar;he's a stringed Bass jazz musician and was able to fit that 'Big Fiddle' in the sidecar when he went to play music.  :D

I have a sidecar as well but it's a 2wd Ural that I use as a witer vehicle. Can't say I'd trust it to go on a long trip, nor does it really have the power to cruise at ease like my Nighthawk did.

And russian product may not be as reliable as Honda  :)
