Exhaust mount
« on: March 05, 2016, 09:09:36 AM »
So while trying to lift my bike to do the fork seals I got tired of the way my uncle had mounted the exhaust

I want to have a set up where I can remove the pipes for better lifting any ideas?

Bailing wire! Not bad. Looks like it's held up for a long time.
Can't really give much of an opinion based on the limited amount of information provided. Would be helpful to know what bike we're discussion and some additional pictures showing optional mount points like passenger foot pegs etc. Pics of the full exhaust wilful do be helpful too.

It is a 75 cb750k but heavily modified frame.  The reason I want to fix it is so that I can remove them if I need to, I am thinking some sort of clamp but I don't know what to use I'll get better pictures when it's not as crappy out.  The pasanger footpeg mounts were cut off and replaced with ones bolted on to the under seat tube.  The drivers pegs are coming off next when I install forward controls
