..cms.nl is mostly orginal stock parts in perfekt kvality..and you got hvat you pay for..parts is expensive..but kopi parts is often a vaste of Money..specily if you build stock bikes..then cms.nl,, is a safe plase to bay..never got a vrong or bad kvality part from there..or emgo likes theep china parts.
.he Sells not bad kvality..så you pay for that
..baying bad kvaliti is more expensive..you have to thange the parts. more times.and have break Downs..Waste your time..vhen the good veather is koming...

Here are some really cheap new CB 550 parts on EBay. Go and build your own new CB550. Or be cheap, and buy a new Porsche instead. :)

Russian bikes(or comunnist)... no way man. I've got a bad experience with russian stuff. One good thing about this bikes are that you need "only hummer and one key to fix them".  You know what I mean 70CB750. I dont wonna fix my bike every 50 miles :)

The old SOHC:ers are very popular to restore and the parts cost much more than the DOHC parts.
CB750 DOHC can be found in very nice shape here for low prices. You might find a bike in Germany, take train to it and ride back home.

Any Kawasaki 1000 early 80's? 1000J/R. They were popular here back then. I do not know if they have become restorers bikes.

Honestly I think about this CB 650 Z 1979. I call to the owner. He told me that this bike start with no problem. No chain sound etc.

So Wobbly what do you sugesst?

I'm looking for a nice classic bike easy to fix and work on.

The problem is that the parts can get pricey, performance is relatively poor (in comparison to a cheaper, ten-year old bike) no matter how much money you sink into it. We are talking 1969 technology here. If you are buying your first real bike, get a newer Japanese bike. They are dirt cheap and pretty reliable. Or, if it has to be a classic, I think you might be much happier with a GS Suzuki (750, 850, 1000). The Kawasaki Z 650 is also cheap and a better performer than the Honda 550. Just look around and test drive a variety of bikes before you make a decision. The bike has to fit your needs. But buying a 40-year-old motorcycle might not be the best way to get started. Test drive!!!

As far as the Ural goes--and many of my friends have one so I do know them quite well: http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/why-you-should-not-buy-a-ural-motorcycle.794963/

When you have more experience might a Yamaha XJS1300 up to year 2006 be something?
You can get some extra HP for not much.

You talk about new urals?

Even the new ones, electric start, Brembo brakes, are horribly unreliable. I have never encountered worse quality. No, wait a minute: the Chinese sidecar bikes are a worthy competitor  for being the most unreliable motorcycle. The Urals can be great fun if you know how to work on them and are prepared to do so at any time. Two-wheel drive is awesome in the snow. But do you really want to travel on the Autobahn at 95kmh? If you even consider a Ural--you are far from having made up your mind.

Ural or Dněpr are only motorcycles you dont have to be concerned when you find metal shavings in the oil pan - it was left there from the factory  ;)

Urals is no better then. the other East bikes.even the new ones.
.only kvality East bike is, East german MZ..vho vas also produced in polen..they vas fine..but underpowered...but simpel and relaibel..a lot in denmark had one for Winter..and a Honda for summer..they vas krazy low preis. kostes the same as a good bycikel.but good kvality...and a side wagon vas ofered as standart to all modells

i had got one, before they vill get heigh preised...as ve forget the East hopelessnes. in the 70 and 80...the preis is going heiger

but still no mainroad riding  80 kmt is scary...so too slow for Europa rides..but a gs Suzuki or fj Yamaha is nice bikes
going to a 1985. and on. bike is more stabile and powerfull bikes..and often less Money..but not så Classic as old Honda#s

yesss test driving is the only vay to find the best bike..try a lot of bikes..
