Nope. If they did that would be very rare indeed. Let me find you a serial number timeline. You can check your numbers here. http://www.hondachopper.com/engine/engine_timeline/timeline.html

Took some quick pics. Still no luck trying to turn it over. I think I'm better off doing a top end on it before I try and get it running. I'll drain the oil tonight and let it drain all night, hopefully no metal in it. She's rough around the edges but I'll get her beautiful again. Going for a stock look restoration

I think you need more patience. Stuck pistons will not free in one day. It takes weeks! But in opinion it's worth to wait. Fifth gear and rocking every day plus adding fresh penetrant every day helped free my k5 stuck motor last year. It saved me a lot of work and this season will tell me if motor needs any work.

Awesome bike for the price! I was in the exact same spot as you 4 months ago - paid $500 for a CB750K4 that was parked in a shed 37 years ago and in great shape, but rust seized from no plugs in. You got an awesome deal and you are going to have a blast.  Just finished zipping mine back up. The most often recommended mix was acetone and ATF fluid. Rocked it one million times over a month. Finally popped the top and learned that there was not a chance in the world that it was going to free up that way. In hindsight if it were half as bad and I got it free it would not have been a good idea to try and run it with all the crap that was in there. If you get stuck with soaking it - I learned a good trick from Calj737 - kerosene BBQ in the cylinders did it in four hours. And definitely get Hondaman's book.

Kerosene BBQ,you mean w/ the cylinder head removed and then heating up the cylinder 'holes' w/ fire inside them ?

The color of the tank/sidecovers and the fact the petcock is on the left indicates they are either a 1975 or 76. The fact the engine has been painted black would indicate to me that it has been pulled at some point.

Could be just bodywork from a later model.  Some guys have known to paint motors black while in the frame...I did one last month [PO painted it black at some point].
The bike is 40+ years old, no telling what has been done to it!

BTW - the seat and exhaust are aftermarket....

I'll work on getting it unstuck for a little while before I yank the motor. Drained the oil and it wasn't too bad.
Checked the numbers on the engine and it is a 73. How realistic is 7k miles? Is it easy to reduce the odometer?

You could remove the speedo and check the chrome/factory 'trim ring' and see if it's still sealed, most likely orig. mileage.
Will you be putting it inside? in the warmth where you can shift the engine into 5th gear and 'rock' the back wheel back & forth every 20 mins. until it breaks-free.What type of very warm fluid will you keep pouring into the spark plug holes? a 50/50 mix of ATF & Acetone ?

When rocking the bike back and forth after the ATF/acetone soak, make sure you leave the spark plugs out, and have the bike in 5th gear. It's also a good idea to put rags over the spark plugs holes, in case the motor breaks free and squirts the mix out with some force. There is a standing distance record of something over 10 feet? ;D

Nice! I would have jumped all over that for 500! Looks like the motor has been out before, the valve cover has been chromed so no way they changed that out without pulling the motor unless they cut the frame. Man you got some sweet parts if nothing else, that oil pressure gauge is wicked sick. What kind of oil cooler is that?

If I have a leak in one cylinder in going to have to pull it apart anyway, is there any benefit to unseizeing it first? My father refuses to believe that those are original miles, he thinks it's 107k miles or has been changed. Not even sure if it is possible.

Uh, I think the "leak" is spilled oil from your attempts to fill the cylinder with oil. Next time, use a funnel. ;) Don't start tearing it apart yet!!!

The speedo could be changed out in 10 min.   These engines get "stuck" from sitting, so it's quite possible they are original miles, but you will never know for sure.

It is easier to free the motor up while bolted in the frame.

Used a long oil gun and it went into the cylinder and only have problem on the third cylinder. Could be wrong I guess. Will try to unseize and then test compression.

I know from experience, that large amounts of miles can be amassed without a speedo cable attached...no speedo cable, no odometer movement...just another variable to think about on that original mileage
If it works good, it looks good...

With oil out you could take off the oil pan to see what accumulated in there - for the peace of mind.  And get the debris off the oil pump screen - without taking the screen out, since once you disturb it, it may need to be replaced.

I'll work on getting it unstuck for a little while before I yank the motor. Drained the oil and it wasn't too bad.
