I'm introducing myself.
I'm Bruce, I live in Portland, Oregon. In 1983 I bought a 1975 550F and it was my college transportation. I sold it and went through a few other bikes (A Kawasaki 650 and a few Hondas). In 1994 I bought another 1975 550F and rode it for a few years. Then I went off to grad school and it sat in a barn in Indiana. And sat. And sat. I just had it shipped to me in Oregon, and am beginning the process of restoration.
She needs a tank and I've had several bad experiences with purchases on EBay. I'll keep looking. She runs, roughly but steadily.
I also ride a 1993 Nighthawk 750 and a 2002 Shadow 650.
But the 550F is my dream, and I will rebuild her.
