1980 cb750 help please!
« on: March 10, 2016, 05:42:00 PM »
So I'm trying to help my buddy get his DOHC running. He has all the carbs rebuilt an jetted for his exhaust. How ever cylinder number 1 will only fire if you cover 3/4 of the carb air intake... I've not seen this before. Any tips? Jets are 110 mains 75 secondary and 30 idle.

Thanks for any info.

Mind you I'm assuming you have the VB42 carbs here...

I'm still guessing that the pilot jet is plugged up.  Be amazed how difficult it is to unplug that circuit.  Might also try the anti-backfire circuit.
