New CB350f in the Family
« on: March 17, 2016, 10:57:12 AM »
Morning everyone,

My name is Jordan and I'm a moto-holic

I purchased a bone stock '74 CB350f a few weeks ago at an auto swap for $500. It turns over, but doesn't run, and needs a decent amount of work to be road worthy again. The tires are rotted off and the carbs are mostly seized, but the engine turns over easily and all of the electronics work. It just hasn't been run (or registered) since 1977.

I got a tuneup kit, carb rebuild kit and a new set of rubber from 4into1. Gonna get the oil changed, give it a tune up and clean the carbs and then see if the bike will run on it's own.

I'll take some pictures this weekend and post my restoration process in the appropriate thread.

Nice score -- and now what everyone wants to know: how are the pipes?

The pipes aren't in great shape. I'll be taking a closer look at them this weekend when I start tearing into it. I'll post some pictures of my progress and the condition of the pipes.
