I bought an XR70 for my daughter several years ago. It was a 3 speed automatic - no clutch. Perfect beginner bike.
unfortunately, she just was not into it and I sold it. She loves bikes, but the expensive carbon fibered non-motorized types! (She has two)
Your daughter is a Bicyclist Stev-o,they will keep her much 'healthier' than a motorcycle,I need to get back on mine..
Jim at Moyer's is looking for a cheap little bike that he can teach his son how to ride on while they both learn how to fix it

together. I'm thinking 'old school' Z50/CT70 small bikes but now those things are serious vintage 'Classic's from the past that many different folks love.I don't know much about the Kaw,Yam or suz. small bikes that are kind of similar to the Z50/CT70's.Jim was telling me he wants a true 'fixer upper' possibly a partially disassembled one/basket.. He tells me he wants to try to find one for around $600

I hate to tell him that will only buy a worn-out 'china bike' beater but thought I'd keep trying to research what make/model small old Jap. bike i can find him and his son. he's 6'5" 280lbs. roughly so there's no chance of him ever test riding

(unless he gets one for each foot!) it either. He has a Yamaha XT350 and enjoys it.
