That was a beautiful CL450 Knuckles, you made the right decision to leave it alone, too many beauties like that are turned into roaches by a plethora of well meaning, but poorly skilled "builders" out there. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Nah mate, I've already told you in this thread how much I like your 450, but that doesn't mean I like all the "Cafe" bikes I see on this site, nor do I like the idea of ruining a beautiful classic like Knuckles' CL that is much more desirable, in my opinion, in it's original (and much more practical) guise  . You a bit "touchy" today Proty?  ;D

he aint got time joe,he`s too busy shagging sheep. ;D

Ha ha, I've seen your pic Dusty, and I know why you've got so much time on your hands, even the sheep don't find you attractive! (even if you've got such a nice personality...........)  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Here's a "rare" pic of the clutch side of the bike --->
I say "rare" because all the pics I seem to takeof this bike are from the right/throttle side  ;D

Hey Joey!  Time to revive an old build thread from that inspired me, back in the days before the whole "project" forum and its inspiration thread . . .

I saw a photo of this bike in Cafe Racer magazine this month, parked with a bunch of others, advertising a bike show coming up.

Benjie had a whole article about his builds in the same issue.

So, do Joey and Benjie still hang around here? I've mostly been lurking the past couple years.

ProTeal, just wanted to say that I love the look of this bike! I was googling Triumph Cafe Racers and ran across a pic of your bike. I found this site and tracked down this thread just to learn more about it.

I know this is an old thread, but if your Bel Air turns out as good as this Honda, you'll have yourself one very cool '55.

Been more than a few years since I posted in here.
I am alive and well and cutting hair in my father 50+ year old barbershop here in Chicago.
Picked up another project, this time a 73 CB125 to make into a sweet little piece of art for my house.

I am going to do my best to be active on here again so if anyone has any questions on anything that I might have
did in the past bike / build wise hit me up !
