Cycle-X Shorty Shocks
« on: March 23, 2016, 11:51:54 AM »
I purchased the Cycle-X Shorty Shocks a couple months ago but am just getting around to installing them.  I have a 1978 CB750K, when I went to change the shocks, the eye of the new shocks has a metal insert which makes it too small to fit onto the mounting point of the frame.  Anyone have this issue before? Can I just punch out the metal insert, it will definitely fit that way but it would be straight on the rubber.  My shocks on the bike right now only have the rubber anyways.

Thanks
Keith
