78 cb550 carb rebuild kit
« on: March 22, 2016, 11:15:13 PM »
Can anyone identify the various o rings in the kit and where they go in each carb? I do know that one of, if not the smallest o ring goes in with the air screw, spring and small washer, and maybe one of them is just for the float bowl drain screw? but that's about all I know. Any help or recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

From left to right:  Fuel, fuel, x, drain screw, air screw, air screw.

you don't need two air screws.  the x is maybe for the main jet and emulsion assy, which is not used in the oem assy.

On a related note, don't buy that junk.

Reuse your OEM brass, get Honda parts.

harisuluv thankyou for your reply! When you say the first two o rings are for fuel, what exactly do you mean? are they the rings that go on the fuel rail tubes that connects the carbs and allows fuel to run between each carb?
Also, I am just using the orings from the pic for reference so that I can purchase the right size/amount for my rebuild, I am reusing my stock brass and such like you suggested.
