Best petcock rebuild kit for my K0

I pulled the tank and have it soaking in vinegar.  The petcock screen and O ring were in pretty bad shape.  What do you guys suggest for a screen and gasket set.

Personally, I would buy a new petcock from Honda for under $ 45 and be grateful that it is still available at that price--because that always works. Alternatively, I would use the genuine Honda gasket. But I know that genuine parts are not popular in this forum so...

Yeah, I think we are all big advocates of OEM Parts here, when they are still available from the dealer.

When I can't find OEM parts at the dealer, I'll look for them on eBay or other sources.

Right choice, you will be happy. Never had a Honda one leak.

I'm pretty amazed there are so many OEM parts available for a bike from 1970.  Makes things pretty easy.

Is that a wrinkle tank on your bike? I doubt you have this version but on some early production bikes there was a petcock that was shorter in height than later versions. Compare and make sure you do not have a 'shorty' before you pitch it in the trash  ;)

Many people (including some at Honda, sadly...) do not remember Sochiro's famous commitment to his customers, stated in the 1960s: "There must always be made available from Honda the critical parts for our motorcycles."
While he was alive, this was fully honored. The 750 in particular built Honda, so it at least merits some special attention from them, somewhat, today. Fortunately, Honda's habit of designing new bikes from parts they already had has also helped.
