75 CB750 Cafe Restomod ...aka “The Cash Beast”
« on: March 14, 2019, 01:25:38 PM »
I found this little gem while perusing Craigslist last summer (2018).

It sounded amazing, all parts were there, clean title in hand, 836  conversion...BONUS!

And the pain...I mean, the joy begins.

Oil tank out.

Also checking out my new 4-1 header and muffler...not bad eh?

Are you going to keep the color?

The paint job turned out amazing!

There's even a peek at the seat hump.

Agreed.  The paint looks nice.  I was almost hoping for a simple satin clear over the original patina, but this looks good!

This forum is a perfect place to find good help to drain your wallet...hmmmm... I mean find new ways to upgrade your bike you  initially did not have in your mind when everything began.

I turned to a stock looking nerd after I have seen fantastic builds around here. More power out from the engine is never wrong either.
I also understand the pure stock guys too. To the smallest detail, correct bolts, yellow marker paint, all correct stickers.... Keeping the history intact.
Old ways of modifying the CB750 is also history well worth to see again... ;)

What's this you say?

The person who I bought it from (who shall remain nameless) lied about it's 836CC conversion?

Compression in jugs 1 and 4 is terrible you say?

Time to make it right.
