Stev-o - whatever the color is called, the bike (and motor) look absolutely great. Real vintage soul with top shelf work. Really envious of you. You're right about having those rear sets vapor blasted, look the Bee's Knees!

... what's the story on that Kerker pipe? Junk? For sale?  :)

It's a good, solid pipe, 750F header w/Kerker can.
My powder guy still has it, I'd like to have him ceramic coat it Gloss Black.
Maybe use for a future build or sell?

Thought you wanted my H2 expansion chambers?!  You a "exhaust collector"?!!

Was asking about the can because I'd like something like that for my daily. I've been looking for an 80's vintage yoshimura cyclone and the kerker is similar. The gutted MAC I have is a bit loud and tinny at highway speeds and gets irritating over time. And yes, the expansion chambers are hopefully still in play, if/when i can get a good pipe to replace 1/3 of my crunched H2 set. :)

All they are seem to come in on the same day!

I especially like the packages from other countries, the stamps are so pretty!

And have good parts! [from Frank in Germany]

So I had a couple hours of shop time yesterday, first up was to install the new swing arm bushings.
For those who have not done it, dont be intimidated, it is very basic.

It is really just knock the old ones out and pound the new in!

Here are my "special tools" of choice...

Mounted the polished caliper and the hard pipe.  Need to order a SS brake line now than I can get an accurate measurement. Going to try Apex since Slingshot is out on break.

Mounted the new oil lines too...

I didnt mount the R rearset yet as I want to use new ss hardware [note nasty nut and bolt in last pic]

Made a long list and will be going to my local specialty hardware store in the next day or two.

Picked up my seat from my upholstery guy, had him copy the old seat.

I spec'd marine grade vinyl, perforated on the top and solid on the sides.
He also installed new high density foam.

Here is a mock up, I'm pleased and at $150, fairly priced.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I ordered the oil lines from a "secret supplier", he asked not to disclose his info for now. Sorry.
They look fantastic, I want another set for my K4...

You need to stack em to make a more efficient use of space, Jeff!

EDIT: Pic deleted because of jerkoffs Potobucko

These are mostly H2 parts waiting their turn.  Wife just asked yesterday, "What's in all these boxes?!"

"Nothing dear, you can go back inside now!"
