As long as you have the catch can, why not vent the engine there? That will keep the oily condensate out of harm's way. Does the catch can have a drain?

Yes, can vent the engine and the can does have a drain.

And then the oil tank to atmosphere?

Why not vent both there Steve? Seems like it will have hot oil and vapors containing condensate that you ought to capture. Can you use a T to do this?

Good idea, that crossed my mind too. Yes, just need a T.  Thanks

Need suggestions, should I have the oil tank vent go to the catch can?
If yes, then just have the engine breather vent to atmosphere??

Thanks

Steve, I don't know how long ago you ordered the brake lines, but Slingshot is open again. He posted to a thread about his business a month or so ago, he had problems with his website and ended  up creating a new one with a slightly different address: http://slingshotcycles.com/

I got paint!   But it's still in the can. Picking colors is not easy, but that part is done.

Have you bought paint lately?  Holy #$%*e, it's expensive. $129 for 3 pints.

Yup, hardest part for me was the color. Painter mixed color at his shop, no idea how much as the paint work was a package deal.

I did a Ferrari red once , all reds are more expensive...unbelievably expensive compared to other colors . I had  mother of pearl mixed in on a sunrise orange , and it was still cheaper than that red. Then you have reducer, and hardener  to add to that. That's just the color. Then there's clearcoat, reducer and hardener. It can get expensive .
But there is little reason that it should take over an hour to make the mix and have it on the counter while you wait.
Unless your request is some exotic 3 part system or the like, that is a non stock item.

I was a painter/body man in the 80's and early 90's.  Paint prices have gone up 10X+ since then.  It cost me about $1000 for all the paint and primer for my bike.

So I'm quite late to the party here, I just had to say WTF?! ....is this magic?? It doesn't even look like the same parts! What is vaporize cleaning, and what all can I clean with it?

Btw, amazing build you have here!

Update on the Raask rearsets: If you recall, I wanted to order new rubber for them but he said I had to send cash or wire by bank...WTF?

I emailed him back and asked if I could pay by Visa or Paypal, a few days later he responded that he would accept Paypal if I paid the fee. No problem!
So I sent $30 to him and I have some "Swedish rubbers" on the way!

The rearsets are old and had some corrosion, thought vapor blasting may be the way to go on these?

So, I packed em up and sent em to my amigo Nils in AZ.  I didnt even know they arrived and he sent me an email that they were done and being shipped back!  Talk about good service and they look absolutely beautiful!
If you not getting your parts "vapored", you are missing out.

Nils even lubed em for me, what a guy!

Also, Don, these are drop dead gorgeous! The paint looks professional quality, did you do it yourself??
