Of course we are interested. I enjoy seeing how the other half live.
+1
OK, since you guys asked, here is my excuse why this dang bike is not done yet:
Started back in Mid-Oct, my wife's cousin came to visit. I just happened to take delivery that weekend of two classic cars for my good friend [he's decided to start a car collection]. 1968 Cutlass and a '70 Corvette:
Of course, we had to take them on test drives!
Then we drove to his exotic game ranch and two local wineries for lunch and drinks.
The highlight of the weekend [at least for the girls] was the Heart rock concert in Downtown Austin. We had 10th row seats...
The very next weekend was the annual Harvest Classic vintage bike show in Luckenbach. We had a good showing of SOHC's and quite a few forum members that have become good friends. We were there Fri-Sun, camped, rode, ate BBQ and drank til some guy puked! [not me!]
Had a great time!!
The next weekend my nephew [and his girlfriend] from Florida came to visit.
They were attending a wedding but had free time to visit a couple days. He loves bikes and always asks to buy one of my bikes! [Sorry!!]
So I gave them a tour of the Hill Country...
And he begged to drive the Corvette! OK!!! [his Dad had one years ago]
Next up was my trip to Belize the first week of Nov. We stayed in thatched-roof cabana on the beach. We fished, swam with sharks, and ate and drank like Kings [and Queens]!! We caught Barracuda and Snapper, the Capt fillet'd em for us and we had them for dinner that night. Wonderful.
Put this fantastic trip on your bucket list.
Sharks in the water below! The wife would not get in the water!!
After that great but exhausting trip, the wife's other cousin was getting married and of course I was dragged there. It was in San Antonio which is a couple hours away, so we went for the weekend. I'll spare ya the pics!
And finally, I spent last week visiting my family in Florida for Thanksgiving.
My sister is a greeat cook and had 22 people over for the feast. Weather was great and we spent two days boating on my brother's 37' Formula.
Once again, I'll spare ya the boring familly pics but here is a pic of the boat getting fueled up on the Intercoastal Waterway near Palm Beach
Ok, no more excuses...get the bike done!
