Harley comercial
« on: November 13, 2006, 04:20:36 AM »
First you know it's for hardly all the bikes are parked not ridden.  Are the black sheep representing the owners/rider or are they the actual girlfriends ;D.

I thought it was the perfect Harley commercial! All the black sheep (outcasts, rebels, etc.) herd together so they're no longer unique!  ;D ;D ;D

:-\  Very clever stuff. They've obviously sold as many bikes as they could to white suburbia, so now they're shifting their focus to the black community. I can see how the black animals getting ignored by the whites, and flocking together in bad neighbourhoods will ring a bell with many black people  ;)
But I don't think the Bon Jovi song will score many points, perhaps Jimi H. would have been better.

LOL!  Guns N Roses.  ;)

The commercial is just what I said in the other thread, selling a tough guy image that can't be bought.  ::)

Jimi Hendrix makes almost anything better...not sure Harley rates him, though.   ;)

It won't play on Linux.  I guess the black sheep march with Windows.

Maybe they should have chosen Elton John, like they did for the 100th anniversary here in Milwaukee.  ::)  Everyone just got up and left when he got on stage. LOL

Oh please. Harley riders are hardly black sheep, they think they are the elite and look down at everyone else. You no longer have to wait and pay over sticker for those bikes. They are hoping to grab a few desk jockeys who want to be bad boys. I wish them luck, the Sun is setting on HD. I hope tee shirts and beer mugs can sustain them.

I just saw the commercial in Youtube and I don't think they are trying to sell Harleys to the black community. They are very busy pimpin cars and crotch rockets. I think they try to sell the image of the proverbial "black sheep of the family", you know, the old motto "if we have to explain you won't understand".
