Which direction does Jorge take, continue with the tried & true Yamaha, or follow the (probably bigger) Audi bucks and sign for Ducati?

He'll no doubt follow the advice of us here for guidance!  ;D

He's not going anywhere.  He's just hoping the possibility of leaving will get Yamaha to fork over some more cash, but he's on too big of a hot streak and is not enough of a risk-taker (yes, I realize the irony in saying that about a MotoGP racer) to change bikes now.  And world championship aside, he's enjoying being top dog at Yamaha over Rossi way too much to give that up voluntarily.

He will stay at Yamaha, continue to be very fast, and every time he opens his mouth will remove any doubt that he is complete douche bag.

I agree up to a point, remember that these guys have massive ego's, Lorenzo would love nothing more than to ride a bike that Rossi failed miserably on, and beat him, he'd love to do a Stoner on Rossi just to prove he's a superior rider... Food for thought   ;)

better to continue beating rossi on the same bike there is no doubt who is the best rider then . the ducati offer will be tempting though , the bike is good and the money will be fantastic
rossi was paid over $20 million for his two years , what would they pay Lorenzo ?

I agree the Audi offer would likely be bloody huge, and I'll bet the Ducati becomes an even bigger force soon. BUT he is on top of his game on a tremendous package with a company that has a dedicated focus on roadracing victories. It might take more than huge money to leave.

i doubt he is short of a few quid and history only remembers the rider that won the championship not the one that earned the most money .
he is having trouble in argentina this weekend , 14th after first practice , with 4 honda's in the top 5 is not a great start ,  still early days !

Oh speaking of this...I'm super bummed that it's not on Direct TV this season. What are my options? I know there's a pass you can get to stream it on the laptop but I read real mixed reviews. Are you all watching and if so how? Do you like it? Spill the beans please.

not sure i agree with it though , i would say Lorenzo is the rider in the paddock who rides the least like stoner . the only thing they have in common is their lap times .

it would be an interesting move for him, however it would leave yamaha in a bad place , they would have to pay vinales a kings ransom to get him to sign .

going to be interesting tomorrow , michelin have withdrawn both the rear tyres that riders were allocated after scott reading had one come apart on him in qualifying .
they are bringing a new tyre for the race and the riders will be given half an hour to try it out ....... so thats three days of testing out the window then !  might not matter
its forecast to pour with rain anyway .

Just spoke with Direct TV. Added it for a mere $2.38 a month. Let the games begin!

Dusterdude...call them. They said they are running a special right now. I was pissed I didn't call for the Qatar race. The best part is I also get World Superbike now too. I was expecting way worse.

Bailgang...that's how I watched it last year but this year it's on 620 for me.

The Ducati has come a long way since Rossi's 2-year experiment.  I think Lorenzo is taking a serious look and might actually jump.

I figure Lorenzo & some of the Yamaha brass are not the best of friends after last year.

As Simon mentioned earlier....still early days. Especially today for Jorge.  ::)

Iannone may want to take a slow boat to Texas!
